Covid 19 Effects in the UK Vape Channel – At the end of 2019, the vape channel across the U.K. was continuing the upward trend on growth. 2020 was due to be another growth year.
As covid19 took the United Kingdom into lockdown and vape stores closed two things happened.
The first seen unprecedented growth for Vape online retails as vape store retailers closed customers began the migration to online.
Some brands have seen great growth in this time such as Vype ePen 3, Vype ePod, Edge, Vapecom and Myst P1. This was a combination of new brands with customers willing to try new products.
Also, the industry’s leading products seen great traction.
The new approach of click vaping on an online platform was accelerating like never before
The second thing that happened was the acceleration of Vape sales in the FMCG. Sales across convenience stores and grocery skyrockets.
With emerging brands about to launch in NZO and Red Liquids across FMCG, the timing seems perfect.
Turbulence for the rest of 2020 does seem like the only guarantee. So the question is how does the vape channel push forward.
Retail stores working on a progressive approach looking at new brands coming to market will be key. Some of those emerging brands are Myst P1, NZO Pods, Nzo Starter Kits, Relx, SnowPlus and Vapecom
Also now is the time for vape stores to welcome traditional convenience vape products such as cartomizer from brands like Cart Co, VIP and 10 Motives.
Also looking at fast-moving FMCG products in Edge e-liquid and Nzo starter kits will critical for vape stores to take market share back from FMCG.
One thing is for sure vape store, vape products will outlast the coronavirus but leading to adapt will be key.
